Refund Policy
If any applicant for membership to Women in HVACR requests a refund for his/her membership fees during the current membership period, such a request must be made with 30 days’ notice in writing to the Women in HVACR via surface mail or e-mail to:

Membership Refund Policy
- General Information
The Women in HVACR does not allow for the refund of membership purchases unless there are exceptional circumstances. Where exceptional circumstances can be shown to exist, the pro rata amount of the current membership fee not exceeding 6 months may be refunded at the discretion of the Women in HVACR Treasurer.
- Exceptional Circumstances
A member may apply for a refund in the case of financial hardship or due to a change in personal circumstances or career change. Exceptional Circumstances do not include the taking of sabbaticals and/or extended service leave. A partner or spouse may apply for a refund within the guidelines of this policy if the death of the member occurs during the current membership period.
- Overpayment Refund
Where an error has been made by Women in HVACR or a banking facility which results in an overpayment being made, the Treasurer may, in consultation with the member, refund by either a credit of the overpayment to the membership, or alternatively by check for the full amount of the overpayment. Checks will be sent within 30 days to the members on file address. Where a member is responsible for the overpayment, the amount will be credited to the membership.
- Terms and Conditions of Women in HVACR
WHVACR policy only allows services to be provided to members in good standing. If a member fails to pay their membership dues within one (1) month of the due date, the member will not be entitled to the privileges of a WHVACR membership. Membership in WHVACR can be re-instated on payment of the dues. If an individual's membership is not in good standing they may not present at the annual WHVACR conference or claim to be a member of the WHVACR. Any member whose dues are paid in full may resign at any time, and such resignation is effective upon the Board of Directors receipt of the member’s letter of resignation. Any member that chooses to leave the organization forfeits all prepaid paid dues with no reimbursement.
- Transfer of WHVACR Membership fee
Memberships are transferable within the same company.
- Additional Costs incurred during the processing of WHVACR Membership Dues
the member will be responsible for all unexpected costs incurred by the WHVACR during the processing of membership fees. Such costs include (but are not limited to) dishonored check fees or bank charges made as a result of insufficient funds or accounts having been closed.
- WHVACR Annual Conference
I understand all conference registrations and purchases made are final and non-refundable. However, I am granted the option to transfer my registration to another attendee within 30 days of the event.All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to the respective WHVACR Conference Manager via surface mail or E-mail. Telephone requests will not be honored. The WHVACR Conference Manager is not responsible for any change/cancellation charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, hotels, or other similar vendors.
